3D body scanning
A page of numbers does not hold anyone. A body a member can rotate, compare against last month and point at does. This is the part of MARCH that turns a measurement into a reason to come back.
People quit what they cannot feel
Scale weight is the worst progress marker in fitness and the only one most members have. It moves slowly, swings three pounds on water alone, and actively punishes someone who is gaining muscle while losing fat. A member doing everything right can watch the scale sit still for six weeks and conclude the gym is not working. That conclusion is where cancellations come from.
- Scale weight is the member's only feedback
- Composition data arrives as a dense printout
- No comparison to last month, because there was no last month
- Progress is invisible during the plateau weeks
- The member decides it is not working and quits quietly
- Lean mass and fat mass tracked as separate lines
- Results translated into language a member actually reads
- A visual model they can compare across months
- Plateau weeks show change the scale cannot
- The member can see it working, so they stay
What every scan produces
One appointment, four outputs. None of them require the member to interpret anything on their own.
Captured at every scan and stored alongside the previous ones, so the member can view them side by side. The comparison is the point — a single model is a novelty, a sequence is evidence.
Arms, legs, trunk, each reported in words rather than clinical notation. The member reads what changed and what it means without needing a coach to translate every line.
The two numbers that scale weight conflates, tracked independently. This is what lets a member in a recomposition phase see progress during a stretch where total weight does not move.
Results feed straight into the training and nutrition block for the next 30 days, so the scan is not a report card — it is the input to what happens next.
How the scan fits into the month
The scan is not an event. It is the hinge between one programming block and the next.
Either rebooked on the spot at the previous scan or taken from an automatic invite at day 30. The member arrives knowing what it is for.
Goal, training history, available days, obstacles and any limitations were captured before arrival, so the staff member running the scan is not starting from scratch.
MARCH does not replace your scanner. Your InBody, Tanita, Evolt, Styku or DEXA does the measuring exactly as it does now.
Raw output becomes a plain-language report, a 3D model and a comparison against the member's own prior scans — not against a population average that tells them nothing useful.
Structured the same way every time: what changed, what it means, what the next block does about it. Scripted so it does not depend on which staff member is working.
Before the member leaves, ideally. The programming block that starts today ends exactly where that appointment begins.
Your equipment, not ours
MARCH is a software layer. It does not ask you to buy hardware, and it does not care which brand you own.
Facilities we've helped
Named facilities with numbers they agreed to share. The slot below is built and waiting — it stays empty until a pilot signs off on being named.
Case study slot
[Facility name], [city]
The persuasive version of this case study shows a member who stayed through a plateau because the composition data showed progress the scale did not. Name the facility, get permission, and use the member's own words if they will give them.
